Spinal Flow Trial
Optimise recovery and healing by rebalancing the nervous system! Spinal Flow Technique facilitates restoring our parasympathetic nervous system, which activates our ability to relax and heal.
A balanced nervous system supports healthy brain function, mood and emotional stability and enhances physical health through supporting healthy digestion, detoxification and immune function, minimising pain and calming inflammation. When your parasympathetic nervous system is activated, your body goes into rest-digest-heal state, routing your blood flow to your organs of digestion and detoxification, slowing your heart rate, normalising your breathing, releasing stress and calming anxiety and depression.
Available to those new to RealEase and would like to experience Spinal Flow and our approach to optimal health and wellness.
Duration: Approximately 30 minutes (please see note below on "Working with Children")
What to Expect During the Trial Session
Dresscode: Anything comfortable. The session is conducted fully-clothed and no change of clothes is required.
You will be asked to lie face-down, fully clothed. The Spinal Flow practitioner will start by feeling each vertebral level of the nervous system to identify where there is specific blockages (stuck energy/“chi”) at the spinal level as well as to identify if your body is holding stress in a physical, chemical and emotional way.
This will be followed by a 15-minute* Spinal Flow treatment session where the practitioner will lightly touch “access points” which consist of dura mater, without any manipulation, popping or cracking of the spine. By gently contacting these “access points”, our intention is to influence the areas of blockages or stuck energy/“chi" and open them up to facilitate releasing stressors or blockages from your nervous system.
Finally, your Spinal Flow practitioner will share with you findings regarding the vertebral level assessment as well as how your body responded during the Spinal Flow session.
*Working with Children
Spinal Flow treatment sessions with children may differ in duration and approach from child to child, depending on age, especially those between 0 to 7 years old, as well as specific health concerns. Your practitioner will work on building trust with your child and may request for a parent’s or guardian’s assistance from time to time. The child will be provided the space to adjust and feel comfortable with the practitioner to facilitate more effective trial session.
